Can You Bring Chocolate on a Plane
Chocolate is allowed on aeroplanes, whether it is in a carry-on bag or checked luggage. Regulations set forth by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) state that chocolate is not an item that is forbidden. If you do decide to carry chocolate on the flight, it must abide by the TSA's liquid and gel regulations. Accordingly, any chocolate spread or filling must be in a 3.4 ounce (100 millilitre) or smaller container and placed in a quart-sized clear plastic bag. Study the customs procedures of both the departure and arrival countries if you are transporting chocolate from another country to ensure you are not infringing on any import/export restrictions.
